Cambourne Park Science & Technology Campus is a 50 acre site, already home to over 60 dynamic companies working at the forefront of many important industry sectors critical to the future health of the UK economy, including, medical research technology specialists, Carl Zeiss; fabless semiconductor company, Mediatek and Rakon, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of frequency control products and timing solutions. Acquired by Life Science REIT in 2021, the Campus is undergoing a retrofit, sustainable transformation to further establish it as a leading location for both science and technology in the region. Further high quality lab and tech bench space, a permanent café and lifestyle amenity and enhanced connectivity to Cambridge are all being developed by an experienced Park Management Team to ensure the Campus truly is the perfect place for science and technology to flourish.

We have an exciting Masterplan for the Campus to accelerate its growth as an world-class place to accommodate high growth technology and life science organisations from start-up through to scale-up, including:

  • Repurposing and retrofitting up to 70,000 sq ft of existing buildings to create wet and dry lab spaces and building an additional 60,000 sq ft (approximately) of BREEAM ‘Outstanding’, highly sustainable, flexible lab and office space.
  • Encouraging interaction and collaboration, by significantly enhancing the onsite amenity provision to include cafés, meeting spaces and leisure facilities for occupiers and the wider Cambourne community to use and enjoy.
