An enviable location within the Cambridge-Oxford Growth Corridor.

Cambridge, Oxford and London continue to play a major role in the development of science and technology with Cambridge supporting the largest Technology and Life Science cluster in Europe.

Cambridge University is internationally recognised and the city represents a significant tech and life science HUB. Cambridge’s tech sector alone is worth £2.4B and is home to 1,500 tech businesses – Europe’s largest technology cluster.

The Cambridge Phenomenon

Cambridge has seen incredible growth in the technology and life science sectors over the last 50 years and as a result many globally significant companies have made the decision to locate in and around the city to gain access to talent, technology and Cambridge University.

The area also has one of the most collaborative business networks within any Technology Cluster. This entrepreneurial and innovative spirit supports a wealth of start-ups, bringing a vibrancy to the region that is unequalled in other parts of the country and essential to continued growth.

At its epi-centre, Cambridge University ensures a continuous flow of talent so the ever-growing need for academics by business and research institutions is sustained. Because of this, the continued development of high-quality science and business estates is essential and will ensure that the people needed for the continued success of the Cambridge Phenomenon, will remain and strive in the area.
